Case Study: iORSO.com, Our Own Site as Proof

We ran the full AEO readiness audit and optimization process on iorso.com in February and March 2026. The Bridge platform scored every page, identified every issue, and executed fixes. Here is what we found and what changed.

Before: February 2026 Baseline

The Bridge scored 157 pages across iorso.com. The results were not good.

Average content quality score: 76 out of 100. Only 3.5 percent of pages earned an A-grade. The remaining 96.5 percent had issues ranging from thin content and poor heading structure to missing schema and forbidden phrases.

Readability was a problem. The average grade level was 14+, which is college-level writing. Most customers read at a grade 8 to 10 level. Content that is too complex for the audience reduces both engagement and AI citation rates.

The site had 91 broken links across internal and external URLs. Every broken link is a crawl error that tells Google and AI engines the site is not maintained.

114 blog posts had zero inbound internal links. Every single one was orphaned. No connection to service pages. No connection to GEO pages. No connection to each other. Google’s crawlers had no way to discover them through the site architecture.

Zero schema markup on any page. No LocalBusiness. No Service. No FAQPage. No Article. No BreadcrumbList. The site was invisible to structured data features in Google and lacked the machine-readable signals AI engines use for entity understanding.

174 images audited. 93 were oversized. Total image weight: 116MB. 169 lacked WebP format. 33 were missing alt text entirely.

Google Search Console showed 107,530 monthly impressions but only 142 clicks. That is a 0.13 percent CTR. The site was generating visibility but converting almost none of it into traffic. 30+ GEO pages for Atlanta suburbs produced 75,000+ impressions and only 16 clicks combined.

Zero conversion tracking. GA4 showed 0 conversions because no events were configured. Contact form submissions, phone clicks, and CTA interactions were not being measured.

US traffic was only 20.2 percent of total sessions. The remaining 80 percent was predominantly bot traffic from China (1,008 sessions), Singapore (754), Pakistan (327), and Brazil (304).

The Fixes: What the Bridge Executed

Content quality overhaul. Every page scored 0 to 100. Content rewritten to remove 70+ forbidden phrases (weak, generic, and AI-generated language patterns), improve readability from grade 14 to grade 9, and restructure for AEO with direct-answer openings, FAQ blocks, and AI-quotable fact sections. 41 new blog posts written through the content engine with quality scoring before publish.

Technical fixes. 91 broken links identified and resolved in a single Bridge operation taking 5 minutes. Canonical tags deployed to fix trailing slash duplicates (/marietta vs /marietta/). Internal linking architecture built connecting all 114 orphan blog posts to relevant service and GEO pages with minimum 2 links each.

Schema deployment. Full schema stacks (LocalBusiness, Service, FAQPage, Article, BreadcrumbList) deployed to 30+ pages from a baseline of zero. Schema includes structured pricing data (Offer type) on service pages.

Image optimization. 174 images processed. 116MB compressed to 7MB total. Alt text added to all images. WebP conversion applied. Lazy loading confirmed below the fold.

AEO layer. FAQ blocks with FAQPage schema added to every service and GEO page. AI-quotable opening paragraphs on every key page with entity information front-loaded. Content sections sized at 120 to 180 words for optimal AI extraction. Quick Facts blocks on pillar pages designed specifically for AI citation.

GEO page overhaul. 25 Atlanta suburb pages rewritten from thin duplicate templates (city names swapped, identical boilerplate) to unique 1,500+ word pages with local business corridors, industry-specific AI examples, city-specific FAQs, and neighborhood references that prove genuine local knowledge.

Conversion tracking. GA4 event tracking installed on all contact forms, phone number clicks, and CTA button interactions.

After: March 2026

Site-wide quality score: 90 out of 100. 70 percent of pages at A-grade (up from 3.5 percent). Broken links: 0 (down from 91). Orphan pages: 0 (down from 114). Pages with schema: 30+ (up from 0). Total image weight: 7MB (down from 116MB). Blog posts: 41 new posts published across 4 topic clusters. GEO pages: 25 rewritten with unique local content. Conversion tracking: live on all forms, phone links, and CTAs.

Total Bridge execution time for technical fixes: under 8 hours. Manual estimate for equivalent work: 80+ hours.

BourbonTown Tours (bourbontowntours.com) is an owned property in the bourbon tourism vertical. It serves as a secondary case study for iORSO’s methodology applied to a different industry.

Results over a 6-month period: total users grew to 54,000+. Lead volume increased 5x from baseline. The site was built on WordPress with the same SEO architecture and content methodology used on iORSO client sites.

BourbonTown demonstrates that the methodology works outside the digital marketing vertical. Tourism, hospitality, and experience-based businesses respond to the same content quality and technical SEO fundamentals.

Atlanta Client Results: Building Now

How We Measure Results

Results at iORSO are measured across three systems, not just one.

Bridge Quality Scores. Every page scored 0 to 100 with letter grades. Content quality, readability, heading structure, forbidden phrase detection, schema presence, internal linking, image optimization, and AEO structure compliance. Re-scored monthly to track improvement over time.

Google Search Console Data. Impressions, clicks, CTR, and average position tracked weekly. Position changes on target queries documented. New query appearances flagged. CTR trends analyzed against title tag and meta description changes.

AI Citation Testing. Monthly queries across ChatGPT, Perplexity, and Google AI Overviews using the client’s target terms. We document where the business appears, how it is described, which competitors are cited alongside it, and how citation presence changes over time. This is the measurement most agencies do not do because most agencies do not optimize for AI search.

The three data streams together give a complete picture. Bridge scores show content quality. GSC shows Google performance. AI citation tests show AI engine visibility. If one improves and the others do not, we know where to focus next.
